Truly Madly Deeply, 2024 Matakana Still Rose

The love story really starts when she disappoints you and you don’t run away. Then all of a sudden you’ve both agreed on an appropriate level of clutter in the house. You realise that you’re growing together beyond the limitations of yourselves and delving into the dustiest corners of each other’s mixed up souls.

Of course this has all been planned out by your souls long before your bodies ever met - the meeting when all of your previous lives spent together flashed through your mind in a split second and the pull towards each other was so strong that it was impossible to resist.

This Rose is inspired by the Greek goddess of Love, Aphrodite. She was so beautiful that red roses sprouted forth from the ground where ever she walked.

So let’s get comfortable because this wine is luscious, and seductive, deep and delicious Organically farmed Matakana Cabernet franc and Malbec grapes were picked at the peak of their glorious summer ripeness, then gently squeezed in our basket press for the maximum expression fruitiness.

Beautiful ripe Strawberry aromas will fill your nose and when you take a sip, a delicate dance of crispness and freshness tickles across your tongue, overflowing with rich flavours of berry sorbet.
